These one of a kind Authentic Fellowship Fabric Cloaks are created from the actual fabric that was designed and woven in NZ’s “Middle Earth”TM and used for the original Fellowship cloaks in the Movie Trilogy by Peter Jackson. The unique copyright Stansborough textile Designs are traditionally woven on historic looms, hand finished and individually made by our Artisan team using our own unique rare grey wool still fleece produced on our NZ farm today. Please note these cloaks are strong, durable and created to climb mountains and keep you safe and warm!! So each piece will take you on many adventures through Middle Earth and beyond. The yarns used to weave this product, are spun from our special wool, then woven on historic looms (1890’s) then hand finished and made. These looms and wool are used used to weave many fabrics for the LOTR, Hobbit and many other movies. Stansborough creates its own textiles for a range of clients and was delighted to have their exclusive designs used to create the special costumes for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, so long ago. Natural, sustainable, biodegradable and no chemicals are used in the processing of this incredible product.

Please note this cloak does not close in the front, it is designed (as in the movie) to wear off the shoulder, so you can reach your bows and swords for battle easily. The cloak uses approximately 4.5 metres of fabric and the hood is large and double lined, so keeps your back extra warm when down. The cloak is wide enough to be thrown across the front and over the shoulder for extra warmth when traveling around “Middle Earth”.
